Cloud Storage for Your Music

It is not surprising to find cloud storage services now introducing new features and a lot of great special offers. Home users may not even have to settle for a premium plan to get the cloud storage service they need; there are more than enough free cloud storage services to use, each offering all the features you will ever need and relatively spacious cloud storage space. In this article, however, we are going to focus more on cloud storage services that will help you store and stream music across multiple devices.

Google Music, currently known as Music for Google Play, allows you to store 20,000 songs for free. Buy new songs from the Google Play Store and they will be stored in the cloud automatically; even better, the tunes you buy from Google do not count against your 20,000-song limit.

Music for Google Play works well with multiple operating systems. It also supports Android - unsurprisingly - which means you can enjoy your music using any Android smartphone or tablet without having to download audio files to your devices.

Amazon Cloud Drive is another cloud storage service that caters to the needs of music lovers. Similar to Google, Amazon allows you to save as many songs as you like when you buy them from the Amazon store. You also get a free 5GB of cloud storage space in which you can store music from your desktop or other devices.

It is also not surprising to find Amazon Cloud Drive to be compatible with multiple operating systems, including Android and iOS. The service includes a very intuitive music player and it is backed by a truly stunning set of internet backbones. As long as you are connected to the internet, you will be able to enjoy listening to your favourite songs without a hitch.

Apple is offering similar service via iTunes Match. Combined with the company's iCloud, the service allows you to save up to 25,000 songs for $25 a year. If you are using multiple Apple devices, being able to synchronize your tracks across those multiple devices seamlessly will be a huge plus indeed.

In terms of music streaming capabilities, Apple is not a company to take lightly. ITunes Match comes fully equipped with great features, including integration with the upcoming iRadio music streaming service. The whole suite also works superbly well and ensures unrivalled user experience. They also work well even when you have a relatively limited internet connection.
